I have looked at several schools in the Antigua Guatemala area.
I believe that casa rosario which is located near lake atitlan is a very good school. To go to a spanish lanuage school in Guatemala really would be a dream come true. Antigua is a very beauitful area in which to study.
Hope this helps.

I took a look at Casa Rosario and it looks fantastic, there's a review on travelocity as well. Has anybody else heard of this school, I really want to make sure I make a good choice.

Thanks!

I just purchased my plane ticket to Guatemala! I have been researching language schools in Guatemala and finally decided to make the leap. I will be there for the month of July. If you will be there at the same time, contact me. After much research, I am down to two choices--Academia de Español Antigüeña in Antigua and Flor del Maiz Spanish School in San Pedro la Laguna. I may end up doing each for about half the time I am there. Here is a very helpful website with your serach. !Buena suerte! http://www.guatemala365.com/

Thanks, that website is perfect. I think I will be there in August, if you want to send me an email or leave me your email, I'd love to hear how your experience is in July. Buena suerte!

I just registered for the month of August at Academia de Español Antigüeña in Antigua. It looked great, and the emails from the director have been really nice. Good luck with your adventure, I'm looking forward to mine! :D
